just as the topic says when my car is off, key out, my abs light is on. once the car is turned on it turns off.
i havent pulled codes yet, but wtf... i barely caught it. shouldn't it turn on when the car turns on if somethings wrong?

This is not a normal issue... you are going to have to do your own investigative work on this one.

i'd start by unplugging components of the ABS system, and checking our wire harness for any places that it may be chaffed, or snagged on something

The ABS light in the cluster is powered by fuse 15 in the I/P fuse box, it's a 10amp fuse thats hot in Run and Start. Fused wire to the cluster connector for the ABS light is pin 9 R/Y wire, pin 5 is DK GR and grounded through the ABS module. There is a splice on the grounded side(from pin 5) that goes off to the ABS Diag connector.

If your ABS light is on with the car off, pull fuse 15, if the light is still on with the car off, wire from cluster connector is picking up power somewhere between the bulb connector and the fuse box.

..next is all you
