ABS Q's

My brake pedal starts fighting back like im sliding on wet grass but on dry pavement at low speed ,then the ABS light comes on and it brakes just fine . Anybody had this or know what it may be ?

Anybody ! ? Really I just want the light to go off ...I'm Fixin to put a big brake kit on and want this solved first

Check the reluctor rings on the rear axel and front spindels. They might be broken or have metal particals stuck to it causing the brakes to act funny.
It might be the ABS module too but you'll have to get the ABS codes read for that.

I've seen the red test plug , do I jump it and count light flashes ..my code reader doesn't read them ...I don't think
