acceleration problems

this is real strange to me, if I punch the gas pedal in my car will still accelerate even if I take my foot off the gas if that makes sense the only way to stop it is to cut off the car. I start her back up and its gone but if I get on her again she screams real loud same as before please help me with this. my acc cable is not snaged on anything could it be something electrical thats causing the problems?

you could take a look at your throttle position sensor. also the tb may need to be cleaned.

Or the butterfly in the T\B could be sticking.
