Does anyone know if the aeromotive stealth fuel setup (with sumped tank) will be a direct fit in the 98's. I'm more concerned with the tank. Honestly i just want the sumped tank because i've got a pump rails and so on...

this is the tank i want

i've also put some thought into doing the Aeromotive Eliminator Fuel pump kit and doing the pick up tubes or Whatever they are called and the kit, will this work?
picture of the Eliminator kit it uses -12 in and -10 out comes with "Pump, Aeromotive pre and after filters, inlet and outlet fittings and a short stop circuit breaker"

and lastly is a Eliminator kit and a pick up tube going to be better than a sumped tank and all? I mean i found a used Eliminator kit for 300 bucks and it's got everything the pump kit itself says it's good to 1200 hp forced induction so i figure max of 1000 hp for s/c if using larger rails and figuring that your injectors can handle it...

The Stealth kit does have everything from the tank to the rails and so on but it is about 2k for the kit...

i would go with the kit you found man. the Stealth system is for Foxes. thats a fox tank.

you can find sumped tanks, or 03-04 style tanks to have sumped for decent prices.

the eliminator kit will fit our cars. its basically the A1000 pump 'kicked up a bit' little more flow for the HIGH HP cars. and a bigger outlet -12 instead of the a1000's -10.

with the kit, filters, breakers and all. i would say go with that. everyone i know that runs the insane numbers runs the a1000 pump. and man does it scream.

long story short, no that tank wont fit, find a good used cobra tank, sump it, and get yourself a nice big fuel pump to suck that sump dry :)

Why dont you drop your stock tank and weld the sump on there, they sell mustang specific sumps for around $50 bucks...

i was going to say the same thing. i never understood why people that want a sumped tank buy new ones. but for some reason most get a tank from a cobra and sump it.

yeah if you running a hat with pumps, the cobra tank is better, wont lose fuel quantity on launch, but if you running a sump, your sucking gas out of that sump, your hat/basket is no longer a factor. nor is the style of your tank. its simple gravity thats going to push gas into the sump and load that pump full of gas on launch.
