Well, when I accelerate the stang, normal acceleration or fast, doesn't matter, when I leave the gas pedal, if I was on 3000 RPM, it stays there for quite sometime before coming down. Quite some time can be 10 seconds also! Is there any solution to this? And what is the stock idle rev setting?

clean you maf first. It's free anyway. and solves a lot of problems.
look for vacuum leaks
then look into your IAC for issues.

All of that, and also clean your Throttle Body inlet. I've experienced problems with some cars having a "hanging RPM" issue such as you are,
and there ended up being gunk around the throttle body blade causing the hangup. Let us know what you find.
