the aircon on my 96 V6 has developed a strange fault.
i thought it was running low on gas, as the ac would kick on for about 3 or 4 secs, then cycle a couple of times, then nothing.
i then developed a bearing noise, thinking it was the AC compressor i changed it (it is the belt tentioner bearing in fact, grrr!) had the system recharged with the correct 0.97kg of gas, but its still the same, it comes on once, then off, then doesn't kick back in..
reckon it could be the low pressure switch?
