Air/Smog Pump ?'s

I really want to get this stupid smog pump off its bouncing around under my car against my midpipe and against the frame I put an o/r x pipe in and theres no support for it on this midpipe and without cats its basically a waste. If I take it off will I get a CEL? Is there any alternative ways to keep it from whistling, instead of completely removing it? It's a DD, so if I could just even have it supported that would be good, without completely taking it off. I just don't really know how to plug the heads or where to plug the heads. Im new with this, hence all the stupid questions lol.

I just bought the smog delete from UPR. I did that around 3-4 years ago, I think. Since I have the 5.0, I got no codes or anything! I have no idea as to what you mean by plugging the heads and stuff, sorry! I replaced mine because it locked up twice. The last time it snapped my serpentine belt and left me stranded for around 2-3 hours! I then bought the delete!
I may not be new, but I'm dumber than a rock!!
