this little adventure ended up costing me about double what the original quote was. going from Romeo to Windsor is a bigger PITA than you would think...

I don't doubt it. I've found that about EVERYTHING is a bigger pain than you would think, and ends up costing more...

I was in the same boat, know exactly how you feel. Got into my project thinking around 4k and ended up after all bugs and extra parts needed totaled up to 6k. But I love how the car runs now. Car sounds deadly man!!! Cant wait to see dyno #'s and some vid clips of it tuned. Good Luck....I love the rear end cover...looks badass!!!

i just finished with the same motor swap in may (mine's actually an '01). your engine bay is a lot neater than mine though.

i just modified my last post. my pi motor is an '01. anyway....WOW!..what a difference. P.I. proves there is life after 4k rpms. so much stronger.

have you run it at the track or put it on a dyno to see what kind of numbers your making?

thats crazy, you can barely hear your car at idle... mine's pretty loud and ive done a lot less to my motor/exhaust :dunno:

you'll notice we didnt spray or wipe any tire shine in the wheel wells (watch some of the similar videos of wheel detailing... what a JOKE!!!). not only that but a lot of people think they need to roll their car to get the bottom edge of the tire... not so O0
