I've read people get these usually after getting UDP's due to having a system or whatever.

Now, in my case, I dont have UDP's but as reported in a previous trend im having issues sometimes with my car not seeming like its getting enough power after say turning the car off... going into a store.. and coming out a short time later (lets say i do this 3 or 4 times in a row within a short period of time)...

now I do have a System. 1000 W AMP with 2 (10s).. and i do blast it.

Could I just buy an overdrive pulley without having an UDP and see if that helps my situation?

If so, will I need a different size serpentine belt for this?

you might try a smaller pulley first. (smaller makes it turn faster) but likely you'll have to buy a higher output alt.

are you referring to buying an UDP first and then an ODP?

If not, arent ODPs already smaller than stock anyway?

typically udp's slow all the accessories down. i wouldn't suggest udp's in your case. i would say try an odp first on the alt. and if that doesn't work then you'll have to upgrade to a higher output alt.
