When you guys fix somthing with your cars, do you always feel like you didnt do it right. I just replaced my balancer, car runs like a champ but im waiting for somthing to go wrong.LOL Maybe its because im so anal about it. Do you guys ever get those feelings

Every install... even oil changes. Worst feeling ever.

I know. Im going back to double check everything on my next day off. Cuz i need some loc-tite on my pulley bolts anyway. I like tinkering on my shit anyway

right now my harmonic balancer is being held on with a helicoil and lock tight....




no i have no idea what you're talking about. LOL!

yes i feel the same way that just means we are actual gear heads that work on our own cars and that we love enough that we care whether we did it right

I worry when I do stuff... I've gotten to where I only do minor things. I know some of you might give me hell for this, but I'd rather a reputable shop do it. They know what they're doing, and if they screw it up, its coming out of their wallet, not mine.

In a moment of weakeness, yes. Otherwise, when I build a motor, rearend or trans, I pull it out on the street after letting it move around a little and hammer it. When the gear was done, I pulled into the bull pen and launched the car. Held up just fine couple thousand later. If it's going to break its going to break right then and there

I always get that feeling after fixing or installing something. Most of the time i have to double check everything bc I start thinking about it too much lol.
