So i have a destroyed 96-98 cobra hood and someone here in town has a hood that looks pretty damn close to this:
Hood%2094-98%20Cobra%20Ram.jpeg

i think i can get it for 180. its already the same color as my car but id like to see some pics of rides with it. unfortunately this is the only image i can find of the hood and it doesnt look so hot. when i was looking at it in the dudes garage it looked legit. clean no scuffs or damage that i could see. plus the scoops go wide open into the cowl. speaking of the cowl it seemed taller than the one in this image as well. anyway if anyone has pics or can direct me to pics with cars with this hood id be appreciative.

my thought process is itll help me sell the car faster than the cracked and stripped 96-98 cobra hood. I have to get rid of my car due to the fact its roof has been replaced before and its straight hacked to shit.

Honestly I'd get a GT hood way before I'd slap something like that on one. Especially if you were selling it. Knowing a seller put that on on purpose would make me take them way less serious about the car.
It's like running one of these.

Plus, as long as the oem cobra hood is repairable the new owner will probably appreciate it more than a hood they will most likely toss in the trash.

The good has c-tech cast into the under side but I can't find them anywhere. I wouldn't be telling the new owners I bought the hood just so the car would sell. The cobra hood on the car is just a huge reason to talk me down it needs glass work its two halves are separating and it needs paint which if done reputable is 600+

I'd pass personally, if you're looking at it from the standpoint of making it easier to sell, a stock GT hood would be a better choice. That hood is very taste specific, a lot of people would come look at the car and think "well, gonna have to budget some money into this to get a different hood and paint it" ...I know that's what I would be thinking. It reminds me of a mandrill baboon

that hood came up on a local craigslist post I put up too laugh at. We had a few rounds and were all amazed to find out it wasn't a piece custom made and actually in production. If you buy it, I will try not to laugh. Ok how about I just don't point and try to keep it to a minimum because after rio's monkey 2 posts up I am not going to be able to stop now.

Looks like someone took a 96-98 Cobra hood and put the two snouts together, I don't like it at all. Gt hood > that thing any day lol
