I have the second set of headlights, they look great, fit nice and tight.

light output could be better with real projectors but it was alright with the regular halogen bulbs.

which ever you get, make sure you seal them up with some silicone, to prevent moisture from going in the headlights..

I had the first set on my old car. They were nice besides the dam orange dot. I sealed them up and they never leaked. Gotta get the chrome side maker bulbs too

id go with black housing, clear lenses (#1)

the smoked housing (#2) looks good with darker colors. but strawberry red and rio red are too bright for #2, IMO

they add "weight" (remember art class? white vs black, negative vs positive) and the darker smoked lights add too much "weight" to the front of the car IMO.

I think the Blue Oval Industries smoked headlights are thest best, which look like the second ones you posted. Or cobra headlights.

I have the first set that you posted and the only thing I don't like is the orange marker inside. I have figure out how to get rid of it. If you have HID's you should be pretty good with black lenses.
