Anyone on here do a Big Block Build?

My goal is to make a 7 sec car out of my SN95. In order to do this I know I'll need big power. I sold an 04 cobra due to the fact I turned it into to much of a beast. 650hp on motor with a built motor and 2.3 Whipple and 800hp on a 100 shot. That car only ran 10.04@138. I figure with a big block and either a big single or twins It should put me where I want to be. This will be a project build so it will happen over time but I need someone that has done it that I can model my build after. Can anyone link me? ccasion14:

Just for ur info incase u dont know already, every second faster than 9's gets exponentially more expensive. Im slowly building an 8 sec car and ive already spent a good 7k on parts and i havnt touched the motor or trans. And i do 90% of the work myself so if u include labor..... yea u will easily spend 30+k for a safe 7 sec car.

Cheapest way would be a BB 460 stroked to 500+ci w/ a 100+mm single turbo. Id say you will need atleast 1200 hp and possibly a full tube chassis.

has anyone built a streetable big block sn95? i found a 95GT rolling chassis for 500 bucks and i have a 410 FE big block sitting at home. would this be more of a money pit than anything???

y not 351 based strocker with an aftermarket block would be easier and a lil cheaper than a big block. it would also fit better.

That was on a daily driver that I was making $600 per month payments on. The car is paid for and an extra car so it can sit and won't cost me anything.

Not sure if the power is going to be where I need it. There's no replacement for displacement.

i've got a 10# bottle of displacement replacement in my trunk, lol. and soon i'll have an even better bit of displacement replacement bolted onto my exhaust.

The 4.6 mod motor responds very nice to giggle gas. Don't forget this is a supercharged car.

i know this but to gain 150rwhp you would be gaining 200 or so crank hp on a 100 shot. just seems a little high to me... :dontknow:

If you know anything about termi's you will know that they respond very well to nitrous as far as hp goes and even better in tq. Also if you buy a decent kit like nx you will usually get atleast what size the jet is to the rear wheels.
