Anyone TT a 3.8?

Just wondering if someone has done this with a SN95 3.8 at all. I was looking at doing this for a long time, but have not got the funds up for it yet.

I've seen a single turbo 3.8 that was putting down 300 rwhp, not bad for what it was. I'd have interest in a 4.2 swap and TT sleeper project but i'm too lazy.

I've never heard of a TT 3.8L. But it ought to be pretty sweet.

Because your on a site that has no real information on doing it, or how to do it, because im willing to bet no one on here has. i thought about this too, many years ago when i had a 95 sixxer, and i did tonnes of research on it, beleive me, google will get you places.

That site was interesting, but it would help more, with a bit more info about the kit and what 3.8's it fits. I notice they have more 99 + in there and one sn95.

i would contact them and find out. if anything else i know there were a few good DYI write ups. IMO, i would think about your goals and figure out if its really worth the money to you, because with an investment in a tt kit to get sub 300rwhp numbers you could sell ur car and get a GT, but its all in what YOU want, not what everone else thinks. its just something to think about before you drop 4 or 5 grand into your car.

I have dropped close to 2 grand with stock replacements lol. specifically called a T5 tranny lol. I can get a hold of Procharger as well, they are 45 min from me. They may get a setup designed for a bit less idk though. I have two 95's both are 3.8's. I got a cobra motor to drop in one and I am considering the TT cause most of the people around my area have 5.0's or cobras. I just want to be different and make some of them go wth when I am next to them at the strip or take off on the highway.

if thats the case than go for it, being different is usually cooler than following the crowd.

one of my good friends single turbo'd his 99 mustang as a winter project. unfortunately for him, the second day he took it out, he wasn't ready for the instant power of the turbo, lost control and totaled it. but i can talk to him if you want some insight into the project

pm me with any questions you wanna ask him, I talk to him often so i can get your answers quick. Off hand I wanna say he only ended up putting 1500-2000 into it and the majority of that was the intercooler and the piping for it?

That's pretty big piping what size turbo did he use ??
