Deep pan coming soon

I'm getting a fluid & filter change this week, and I'm going to have them install a deep pan when they put her back togather.

Scott, are you doing the 4R70 pan and filter swap, or something else?

I considered that route, but you know, If that pan is much deeper, I am really worried about ground clearance.

Hello to all my AODE brethren. The list is slowly growing:

B&M shift kit street/strip
Rv torque converter (currently trying to locate)

The tranny is still out of the car so I have yet to test it. I see a lot of you guys have gone with a transgo kit, do you know something that I don't? Is it like the B&M where you can choose a towing setup with slightly firmer shifts or the street/strip setup with even firmer shifts?

hello to you to fellow slush box haver. :)

I am not sure what is involved in the installation of the trans-go kit, but the b&m shift kit could be installed with the transmission still in the car. From my experience, someone with a little ability, patience and knowledge could knoick it out in a day easily. If you want to toss in a torque converter though, then you have to pull the tranny which requires a little bit of labor. And that will drive the cost up. Check a shop you trust, or a mustang specialist, if there's one in your area. Does anyone know if you can get into the computer and firm up the shifts that way?

I have complete instructions to install the shift kit, seems fairly easy even for novice. I also have a trans go shift kit for the aode that I may sell, its still brand new, I was going to install it in my aode but did the swap to t5.
