Put it this way...I built my car the FIRST time...I wanted 11's on spray and street tires. Did it...not long after, tore it down, full drag suspension, etc etc etc more nitrous....wanted DEEP 11's Got them...then rebuilt the motor due to an oil pressure problem. Could have just "freshened" it up but went with a different intake, more nitrous again, bigger cam, new gears, bigger tires, etc.....cracked 10's....had a perfectly running 10 second street car but I wanted more yet was pushing the stock block envelope...then I tore it apart. Going with an LS-x based motor, auto with a t-brake, and LOTS LOTS LOTS of spray....going to mid 9's on a radial tire this go around. Its come along way from its 14.8 second roots....

I ran a head/cam setup for a couple years, i had a street tune done on it and it was fun for a lil while, but it still didnt seem nearly fast enough. Now that I have the blower on it it's already a crapton more fun that just the heads/cam setup and it's not even fully tuned, but the power is greatly increased. I'd say if anything do boost over head/cam, but obviously doing both would be ideal.

On3turbo kits get mixed reviews...

Well, everyone here is right in their own way... Too much power and you will not enjoy driving it, spending to much money and time to make it fast will eventually get to you. Then you no longer have a street machine..

Yeah the new numbers make me sick, but those folks are spending $25k to $36K for that power rating in a heavier car. Shoot, a $5k motor in our cars will smoke the new ones..

I got the bug, went from stock 302 to GT40P's, FMS headers, Gt40 intake, E-cam, and PMS programmer.. And it was fun for a whole day. The next day took it all off, sold it and now i have AFR 185's going on stock short block.. Traded my S-trim for a turbo setup and traded that for a dart block 347.. So u can see the situation snowballs pretty quick. LOL

If your gonna do it. Shoot for the 300 to 350rwhp goal.. Anything over 400rwhp is a lil much for a street car.

I would say go with a turbo. You can save multiple tunes for multiple different boost and power levels. So you can change your power for what you want at that exact moment. A 300RWHP street car. get to the track and change the tune to the higher boost tune and have a 450RWHP drag racing beast. I know a lot of people on here bash on the Boost Brothers turbo kit. but i personally love mine. Its so much fun and fits pretty well.

First big problem i have heard of this kit was a thread posted in the forced induction section about the crossover pipe hitting but mine had no such problem. And has held up very well thus far
