backlit cluster for 96

noticed the redline is correct in the day pic but not at night time.

also wondering if this cluster set is split into more than one peice like stock, would like to buy that set and possibly just the tach part from speedhut so i could have them print the red SVT logo and pair that together with the rest of the upr cluster. is this possible????? i just want a stock looking 96 cluster with red svt on tach and backlit green at night. also don't know if the upr and speedhut backlighting color would be different. . .

Honestly bro they have the same stuff for cheaper on ebay. And more styles to choose from. It all comes from china so the UPR quality is not worth the price. Speed hut is decent stuff though, at least i had good luck with them.

i just talked to someone with speed hut on the phone. they said i could do a custom order with SVT on the tach, rpmx100 bellow tach needle, remove speed hut and replace with "premium fuel only this side ->" and have the accessory cluster gauges the same as 96, as well as make sure the tach redline has the same spacing as 03 04 cluster. the cluster with custom work, green backlight and upgraded inverter should run just about $135-140 and speedo and tach will look just like this (aside from there being a slot for my roll over odometer)

also realized that bellow the needle on the 96 cluster is the tripometer, should i just leave it back there or try to fit "premium fuel only this side ->" in small lettering??? tell me what you think, will be ordering soon.

here is a rudamentary example of what i am going to have done, if anyone can photo shop it better than my poor attempt with microsoft paint i would greatly apreciate it

changes made: SVT above tach needle, rpmx1000 bellow tach needle, "premium fuel only this side ->" bellow speedo needle( size needs to be adjusted), also noticed that on the 03 cluster the km/h numbers have a dot on the outside rather than a dash to the inside, also dot in between each km/h number dot.

have seen other draw on the back side of needles with red sharpie to make them look like the 2000 cobra R needles, would another coat of orange with a sharpie on the back of the needles give my stock 96 set the darker due of the 03 04 guages? should i just find a junk 99+ cluster from a v6 or gt and take the needles off it? also don't know if the 99+ needles are backwards compatible with thee 96 cluster needle pegs. input?
