I want to move my battery to the trunk of my stang. But I also what to go to the local drag strip. If I go to the track with my battery in the trunk will they let me run, without a kill switch? My car will be in the 13's maybe a 12.9 depending on what gets done. If i need to have a kill switch could somone post a diagram please. Thanks

o and if i do need a kill switch couldnt I just run the wire from the switch to the fuze box since that is the power for everything? I know thats where the alt gets power so that should make it legal right?

If your battery is in the trunk you may have to have the kill switch regardless of times. ( Im pretty sure) Venom351R Sent me a BUNCH of photos of his install. I can send them to you if ya want.

in my Cobra, i had mine ran to the fuse box..i was going to move it straight to the starter because that is where Taylor(Manufacturer) i believe recommends it..plus that's how i saw it installed in racepages.

Someone stole my pics :thefinger:

And yes no matter what times you run you are required to have a kill switch if the battery is in the trunk, that is if its a NHRA sanctioned track which pretty much all of them are.

I found that out the hard way the first time I took the Cobra to the track and they asked where the kill switch was...I said what kill switch? Needless to say the only racing I was involved with that night was watching from the bleachers.
