Well,

I've had a relocation kit for a year now... so i figure its time to finally put it in... to be perfectly honest, i have no idea what im doing (as usual.)

has anyone who has done this before have any suggestions? should i run the cables through the car or under the car? is there a higher quality cable i should use? how do i get my kill-switch in properly? Ive got all the parts except the cable, so any ideas how much i need?

any advise before i start would be greatly appriciated. anything you wished you knew before you started?

I'm interested in this as well. I have heard of people getting welding cable from a weld supply shop. It's supposed to be cheaper and more conductive than some of the actual battery cables. Other than that, I'm not much help.

I have the steeda hardcore box and Taylor wiring with a Flaming river pull rod. Installation really isnt all that difficult really. I did one on a 197 and have pic's of it but thats no use. Im going to look and see if there is a write up on here. If not I know GPTECH has some pretty good ones on his car. As far as running wire, Im running mine inside across the back seat down along the driver side rocker and in to the engin compartment.

Not like feed wire... but extremely heavy gauge ground wire from a welding supply shop. No need to be a smartass, just trying to save you a few bucks. :eek:ccasion14:

welding wire is nice but VERY flexible so make sure you have it secured along the length of the vehicle
