You can use the originals but new ones are soo inexspensive that you should just get new ones. On all of my set-ups I just used reg Summit style header bolts and I've never had a problem with them backing out.
OEM style header gaskets would be fine , IMO. I used them until I ran the turbo and now I use copper b/c of that.

not too bad so far. i have never done a long tube install and only took me about 3 hours to get to where i am at right now. all i have to do is unbolt the dipstick tube and then i am ready to try and get the headers in...

well, it took me awhile to get the new header bolts and gaskets, but they both got here couple days ago. and finally got everything back all bolted together and ready to roll. all in all the only hard part about long tubes on these cars is the top far rear header bolt. big pain in the ass to get bolt started, and big pain in the ass to get your locking clip on the locking bolts. but well worth it!! havnt had the chance to take it for a spin yet to see if the everything is in line still, hoping i dont need an alignment. i marked the bolts on the k but you never know, somthing seems to always fubar me. if you are thinking of doing longtubes do it guys, these things freakiin scream at wot!

I have the BBK long tubes ceramic coated, with their x-pipe, catted, with the MagnaFlow mufflers and ss rolled tips, had it all welded up, sounds sweet, a little quite but has that nice 4.6 Mod 4V sound when you wind it out...defiinetly a good choice.
