as the title says, the BBK LT's and O/R X finally go on next Friday, finally got the other car junk out of the garage and freed up some work time. we removed the side exits and got a stock 2 1/4" catback. we will be running dumps, so what mufflers. preferrably aggressive but not too loud. the current Borlas on the car sound good.

I had flows on my 99 and it was OK, I just dont care for flows because of them being " old school " I was going to so SLP LMII..........

With an offroad X a lot of mufflers are going to be pretty loud, I'm thinking the most mellow will be the Magnaflow mufflers or maybe 50 series Flows.

I think no matter what I do lt's and no cats is going to be loud, I hope I'm wrong. these mufflers make no catted turbo cars sound good/quiet, so if these don't do it, I'm going to try some original equipment Walker brand mufflers. then again, if it sounds good while being loud, I guess I can live with it.

have chambered magnaflows on mine and really dont like the sound a little too raspy when WOT... really any straight thru muffler would sound mean....
thanks for reviving an old, dead thread. in the end, the solution was not mufflers, it was cats. changed a variety of mufflers, everything sounded like shit. put cats back on it, and the original borla side exits sounded good, stingers sounded good, even the dumps sounded much better

This is my 98 cobra with BBK lts and bbk orX with magnaflows. I like it. Its actually pretty smooth and quiet inside the car especially when cruising but it does SCREAM when you get on it lol I love it though
