Been making a few changes to the Stang. Biggest is new wheel/tire combo plus finally getting rid of the crappy old purple bubbling tint :nono:

Still working out some small suspension issues and a pain in the a$$ problem with the electric choke :BangHead: but she's 85% there.

I was looking into those wheels but everyone told me they went out of business? The look sweet as hell!!!!!!

My understanding is he was sued by American Racing and lost. I saw on post when I was looking for a set on another forum that Summit was blowing them out for $99 a piece. The 15X10 were gone when I got there but they still had 15X8 which takes the 295 tire I wanted anyway. Rear tires are MT Sportsman S/Ts. I really wanted BFG Radial TAs but none available until July.

nope not my cup of tea. THe before looked so much better. Plus you need the wing back.. just doesn't fit the current look of your car.

Funny you should put it that way.

I made some changes to the set up to make it more of a street car/DD with the biggest being going to a 650 DP with an electric choke. All that was good and I was getting about 15mpg around town. So I make my first trip to work and back and I guess I wasn't' thinking how the math was going to work out. It cost me $21 to go to work and back!!!! :BangHead:

Almost 16mpg but still with 130 miles round trip it burned 8gals at $2.20 a gal.

So now it's my relegated to around town and strip duty and that's not a bad thing except I'll spend more time in my Accord that the Stang. :crybaby2:

You need to change your jets on that Holley. Making 440 in my Nova with an NA stroker 383 and I get 20 on the Hwy. get a wideband and see if you can tune it in. Or go down to a 600. I'm assuming it's just a 302?

It's a 331 and in just trying to tweak the electric choke it looks likethe choke blade was hitting the air cleaner lid and probably not opening all the way. It was keeping low idle above 1200rpm so that may have been the difference.
