Well I just heard back from my builder/tuner.
I have 31 spline axles in my car -- and the drive side is bent!?

umm, correctly stalled turbo torque or defect??
don't know if they have any recall or coverage ect, have to wait and see.

FINALLY got my car in for a tune adjustment today, messing with idle tables, and shifting points, and had them check a few things out.
just got the call :eek:ccasion14: :dontknow:

sounds like bent, but i'm not sure, they're going to tear into it tomorrow.

Have I told you how awsome this runs with the auto and your turbo on it? :headbang:

it wasn't bad, nothing drastic I noticed, but I could hear the brake rotor rubbing when i'd brake. they said you could see it move on the dyno.

they started yesterday on the tear down, i'm going to stop by today and get the report.

Duff: my rear setup is:
MM HD LCA's
MM HD Torque Arm
31 spliners with welded tubes
subframes
MM panhard rod.

I've had lots of issues with Moser 31 splines on my car. Mostly with them being faulty from the factory as in size/specs off and causing fitment install issues. After 3 sets I finally scrapped together a working set.

I will go Superior next time I think.

I find it immensely comforting that I have to Moser 31 spline non-c-clip axles waiting to go in my car after hearing that. Isn't the part of the solution to preventing bent axles having stationary axle tubes, which means welding them?

hehe, sorry to comfort you in the wrong way Matt.

welded axle tubes it to prevent them from spinning/rotating in the housing under torque.
mine are welded, so it's kinda wired. I haven't drag raced the car yet and i've been hitting it hard, but i'm on street tires.
