best muffler choice

i have a 98 mustang gt, that i purchased bone stock except a ford racing clutch. what stage? im not sure, but it clamps pretty hard. My question comes in becuase i just installed a BBK o/r h pipe and i wanted to know what the best muffler choice would be. I hear that flowmaster 3 chambers sound real good. just lookin for some guidence before i spent my money on somthing that im not happy with :help2:

I have heard that the 3 chambers have a good tone but are not very loud but im not sure about that i have never heard them in person. What are you looking for loud, good tone or a little of both? I would look at some videos on youtube and just see what you think sounds the best for you

if you want it loud and the muscle car tone get 40's flows,but for a good tone not loud bassani

im looking for somthing pretty loud, but with a good tone, more of a deep muscle car sound. Somthing to go with the deep tone from the h pipe. 40's flows sound real good on youtube. Thanks guys.

i got them from classifieds, as soon as i saw them i pm the guy i knew they werent going to last long,they sound Killer but not too loud tho

im starting to feel like i should shy away from flowmasters now. Does anyone know how bad the 2k drone is, cause my car sounds real good at 2k and id hate to give that up for a little more volume. How would the 40s compare to magnaflow.


also i wanted to know some opinions on pro 50 vs. steeda tri ax. I think im gonna go with the steeda.
