My throttle body seems to bounce open a lil when I let off it from a hard pull. The spring seems pretty weak. it's a 75mm trick flow 5.0 TB any idea's on how to throw a spring somewhere to make it close better? I tried moving the return spring around one more turn and it contorted. so any idea's?

The spring is behind a welded plate that the cable rest on. I have to think outside the box. I've tried dismantling 2 other Tb by removing the plate but the 2 screws the hold the throttle in place are not meant to be removed.

You're not running an actual return spring from the tb to like the cable bracket?

Technically it's a second spring

As he said there is supposed to be a 2nd spring that goes from that little brass eye/ring on the top right back up to the throttle body bracket.

You can probably take this one apart and turn it one more time to try and tighten it up. If it comes apart like mine did look inside the TB at the blade that turns. Remove the two screws holding it to the center vain and then you can turn the vain and slide the big round center section out. After that it just pulls apart. You can probably take it out an inch and turn it one more time. But again there is supposed to be a 2nd spring that is what really pulls it back.

I see no I do not have that on my setup that would be my issue hahaha. Must have lost my old spring in the years of work. Already see a nice spot to put a new one on the Eddy setup. Thanks guys.

it is really easy to loose because you have to remove it from either the TB or the bracket to remove the tb. Once it is off of one side it very easily comes off of the other. I spent a day looking for mine once after taking my upper apart and learned my lesson from it. When ever I take it off now I remove it completely and put it with the bolts/nuts I am removing and keeping safe.
