I contacted Bigdogs inquiring about the porting he does. It shows great reviews with lots of data to back it up.

Im considering doing a stage 2 intake and head combo with a Steeda 19 or B31 cam. Something that will still drive nice but put down a solid 350rwhp with supporting mods.

Bigdogs ported GT40 flow numbers
LIFT IN EXH
.100 82 65
.200 146 118
.300 191 144
.400 225 160
.500 232 177
.600 234 182

No too bad for an old head if you ask me. Should drive really well and be easy to tune while putting an SN95 solidly in the 12's. The draw back is I cannot use the heads on my 363, but the intake is usable. Im probably better of doing a blower and swapping that over later.

Has anyone had any work done by them? I'd like to hear your experiences.

Big pissin contest over on the corral a few months back about certain claims regarding ported GT40 intakes.
Seems that the money was better spent on the tried and tested Holley Systemax intake. And 185 to 205 alum heads.

I would debate "better spent". While the Holley may outperform for the dollar, it won't fit under the factory hood where the GT40 will. A new hood and proper paint which may include blending to the fenders could easily exceed another $1k.

In my opinion not having an obnoxious bumped hood, is worth the extra effort with the GT40.

Systemax won't fit with the hood liner removed?

What about an RPM 2?

If the op is running a 363, won't he need at least an R type hood with cowl?

I am running the Holley Systemax under the stock hood on my 95. Poly motor mounts, can’t remember whose, with no hood liner. Had my intake custom powdercoated.
I put a couple of small washers between the hinge and hood, still lines up well. You can see the hood slowly wearing on the powder coat.
