Bilstein shocks/struts

I was going to go coil over but I decided thats going to cost to much for my current goals on the car. So I'm just going to put on some Eibach Pro springs and some new shocks/struts. What do you all think of Bilstein's

PART # V36-4138-H3FRONTS

PART # BE5-6418-H0REARS

I found a good deal or what I think is a good deal on those, $490 for all. Any opinions appreciated.

I like mine a lot. Not sure how exactly they feel compared to the cheaper ones, but if I had a chance to buy a different brand I would still buy the Bilsteins. I just switched to Eibach Pro Kits with them and it rides amazing. I bought all of mine from stangsuspension. We get a 5% discount and they got it here in a good time. The price was close to yours..... Oh and if you still want coil overs later on, Maximum Motorsports makes a kit to make your Bilsteins into a coil over.

Oh yeah, I saw that kit but I figured it took a special strut. I will order these Bilstein's then. They seem to be the favorite.

They are a top quality product. I went with Tokico's to save some coin but my next set will be a set of Bilsteins....maybe adjustable.

so the bilisten's have a good ride quality with a prokit? man my vert rides like ass with the prokit and kyb gr2's ... shoot the gr2's were suppose to be a confort shock and strut. Hmm i'm thinking a new thread

Well considering that it is lowered and I have my front springs cut half a coil, if it rode any smoother I would be worried. I did just do the swap less than a month ago for the springs but it rides nice and smooth compared to the H&R SS I had in there. Im happy :boink:

Well I just had to replace some unexpected things so I'm going to have to reduce my shocks/struts budget, sucks I know but I'll have to deal with it. What about the Tokico HP shocks/struts? Would you all suggest fox shocks/struts with an eibach pro kit or the normal 94-04 shocks/struts?

:dunno: I got fox but i dont think the prokit drop's it enough to really "need" the fox body stuff.

If you need them on the cheap check out the KYB. THey are pretty good for cheap. :thumb:

$260 for the tokico HP is cheap enough for me as long as they are decent.

The Bilstein struts and shocks are of top notch quality and will make a good difference too.
They also come with a lifetime warranty I do belive if you are the origanal buyer.
For the money you can't go wrong with the Tokico "HP" struts and shocks either.
They are tuned for "firm" mode.Everyone I know was happy with them too.
