There something about black that is sexy, but to me its missing something. Like when i had laser red it was sexy. When i seen Atlantic blue in person it was awesome.

But black and white are just plain. I mean they look sexy, but its missing something.

Anyone else feel this way?

my car: In this picture it doesn't look sexy because of the tints and how close the pic is taken

i don't think black and white catch light as well as an actual color. a car in laser red or atlantic blue or any other color catches light and accentuates the curves and creases of the SN body work. It's probably because to get "laser" red or Atlantic" blue it takes a mix of multiple reds/blues vs. black being black and white being white (for the most part).

Not sure I'd trade black for any other color. Black is all about the reflection, it just looks wet all the time.

dont get me wrong, i mean no offense to black car owners.

I think a clean black car with that perfect shine is sooo much sexier then just about any color. it just doesnt have that pop to it like a red or yellow

I took no offense my friend, people that complain about black cars are just lazy or don't have the know how to keep them clean. lol

My car is far from flawless, and yes its frustrating but I'd be just as upset about the flaws if my car was any other color. The whole being visible less is BS, if you detail your car you're going to see the imperfections regardless of color.

Black doesn't get more dirty than any other color, it just happens to show dust more. Wipe it off and get over it :eek:ccasion14:

for once i agree with you.

I don't give a shiit what color the car is, some are more interesting then others, some will play with your mind as to what color it is, and some are just too obvious or too ugly to even care. Black is simple, black is classy, black is sophisticated, its professional, you can take it out to the prom or you can bring it to the drag strip and do work.

I have owned 3 white vehicles and 2 black vehicles. I will say all day white is way worse to keep clean then black. and it doesn't matter, if it is ANY color but a sandstone(metallic brown) its going to show dirt.

I wouldnt trade my GT being black for any other color. Yes sometimes it seems like it get dirty just backing out of the driveway. But when shes all clean :afro: Sometimes I feel like tony stewart in theat armor-all commercial lol. I think duffy hit it on the head.

i hate black cars, and i can say that as a owner lol.. and like said above, theres no depth when you look at it, dowsnt show the curves well, etc... my favorite color for the 94-8 is dfg, or atlantic blue... those cars are sexy. favorite color for 99-04 is dsg or sonic blue.

i hate the black... im realy surprised with myself that i pulled the trigger, and bought it.

i will say that Ford puts brown in their black and its not a true black. that's why black will appear faded but in reality its just the brown showing more in light. I had mine sprayed all black with blue pearl to bring some color to the mix.

I'd definitely like to paint mine with a true black, my car looks kinda gray in the sun but I'm thinking mostly cause it's old. Do you have any pics that show your blue pearl? It's probably hard to capture but I'd like to see it.
