I did a search of old posts but didn't find much.

Any suggestions on bleeding the new rack and pump. I have a Haynes manual, but it doesn't say much about it.

Thanks!

i think you just fill the pump, crank the wheel lock to lock a few times while the car is running, refill the pump and so on until the pump holds at the right level.

Put your front up on stands while you are turning the streering from lock to lock and leave the pump cap off until no or just little bubbles come out.

Cool,

I just wanted to double check. Some guy at Autozone was talking about pulling a vacuum on it, and another post said to take a hose loose until fluid was running out.

Okay! Thanks,

I won't turn it right or left to the extreme. I will just go about 3/4 each direction.

I didn't turn the steering wheel, so the clock spring should be just as I left it.

You can touch the stop just don't hold it there.
Your going to need to go lock to lock to push all the air out of the rack.
