ok guys took the car to the dyno to get it tuned .. it made 328 rwhp and 216tq at 4000 rpm 10 pounds of boost with a p1 procharger .. it made 328 at 4000rpm because of the stock fuel pump .. now the question is a walbro 255 pump can handle 400+ whp ???????

so a walbro 255 its good for 400- 420+rwhp ?

My walbro intake maxed out at 5,000 rpms and my car makes 385 rwhp through a stalled auto.

but generally a 255 should be good for over 400 rwhp

mine just sucks for some reason

385 rwhp justin ? how many pounds? also i dont know why it made 216 tq i think thats to low .. the tuner didnt know it was a 04 pi engine he thought was a 96 engine so he will have to make a new tune and with the new pump he said i will be over 400rwhp at 10 pounds .. i dont know what do u guys think ???

really 216? i just thought that was a misprint.. i would think it should be at least in the 360 range based on your hp numbers...

im running 11 psi, intercooled, long tubed, o/r h, 04 pi engine, but you gotta understand this is through a stalled auto, aka biggest power robber in the world and the pull stopped at about 5500

Tuner sounds like a tard by that comment just so you know.

Dont understand why it needs a new tune for a pi engien vs a npi.

You would think the npi tune would be more aggressive as far as timing with the lower compression ratio and the a/f ratio is all measured and regulated by a sensor so again the motor isnt a reason for him to make a whole new tune.

dyno numbers can be manipulated on most dynos....so he can easily take your car from 380 to 400 rwhp if he wants.

but 10 psi with a manual should be around 400 or so rwhp

I realize this is my first Post but though I'd throw my two cents in... i have a 2000 GT, running a Vortech at 11psi, Full bolt on car long tubes etc..(T-45). I went with the single pump out of the Ford GT, Comparable to a 255 if not a 255. I made 427rwhp and 412lbs of Tq.

The 255 should carry you over 400 easy so no worries there. :) 42lbs injectors is a better idea over 400 RWHP I'd think.

^ the GT pump is supposed to be good for like 285 lph or 310 lp ive heard....

either way everycar is differant, only way to tell is to dyno it and see what it does.

Like I said my setup should be good for close to 475 rwhp I would think but Im running out at 385.
