Building a new motor

I'm building a new motor and wanting to know what yall think. My planes was trickflow stage one cam, underdrive pulleys, E7 heads thats had a valve job done and decked,with gt 40 intake. what your ideas? :headbang:

What kind of goals are you looking for? It's a solid setup if you're not looking for a lot of power. It's probably make a good 225 RWHP

UD Pulleys are nothing but bad news imo. They like to chew up alternators and are just not worth the 8-10HP you get.

I would port the e7's or go with some stock gt40 since it looks like your working with a budget.

not a bad set up when going for a low budget engine build. Just dont expect to make to much power with the stock E7's

My goals are to have a good pretty strong depenable motor for a every day driver street car.

sounds like a basic build. a set of gt40 heads would be just as reliable and stepup your power a bit. but it sounds like you already had your e7 heads worked on so that would be lost money.

yea I was planing on puttin gt 40s on it but this guy gave me set of E7s thats been worked for free. I plan on building 347 later

nope, your building it for what you want to do with it. Should be a nice running combo

GT40's would be a great step up from those E7's. And you can get those pretty cheap.

and just incase, I have a almost new TFS cam for sale, $120 shipped. Was only in my motor for 15 minutes, idle only.
