Bullitt cluster question

Hi guys, happy to be on the forums!

I've been browsing around and tried Google and can't get a positive answer so I'm hoping I can find it here:

I want to do the LED gauges mod following the write-up on these forums, but the question I have is about the color film used behind the Bullitt gauges. I have an '02 GT but with an 01' Bullitt cluster. I know the film used behind the gauges on the GT's is blue but before I order the LEDs can anyone tell me for sure if it is in the Bullitt's too?

It's not blue. I put red led's in mine with no problems. I used #74 bulb. And welcome.

Do the LEDs show red through the cluster? Is there no color film behind the gauges in the Bullitt clusters?

It shows bright red. I also did the a/c knobs which show red too. They take a different bulb then the cluster.

Thanks much for the quick answer man. Yet another reason to be happy I got the Bullitt gauges, no film to sand off!
