MM, Griggs, Steeda. They are all pretty much the same kits. Kinda hard to make something different on something so specific. I've got Griggs Racing on mine, since I got it cheap.

Did you get bolt through, or tapered stud? With tapered stud you don't have to drill anything.

In that case you do have to drill the spindle right where the rod end bolts up to. It has to be big enough to slide the bolt through. Just don't over do it, and make the opening too big. You could end up with slop in the steering.

i would like to add, i took my spindle to a machine shop. you dont want to drill that hole at an angle, otherwise your S.O.L. i took it to a place with a drill press that could do a nice clean job. TOok them the instruction sheet to ensure there were *no confusions* about what to do....

Or you could just call MM and get tapered studs separately. I bet after it's all said and done, this will be cheaper than buying different spindles, getting them drilled by machine shop, swapping EVERYTHING over from one spindle to the other.

I have Baer tie rods on my car, and have used them many times before. The tapered pin is much easier, and is made from 9140 hardened chromoly. I prefer it over a 12 cent bolt.

i looked at MM 's website and they say that the tapered kit is only for "stock" cars. what if in my case you have the tubular k member with coilovers? would you then go with the bolt throws or what?
im a long ways away from my car and cant look at it at the moment and i cant remember how the control arms were
