Need your guys input.
I AM using the stock GT/V6 headlights that have not hazing or yellowing going on. I am getting 6000k lights, what do you guys think?I am buying them for cheap because the guy is building clientele to get his business going. I heard they scatter real bad though. Input pretty please

They will scatter worse on stock type headlights.
I've had good luck with ultra-clear style of headlight not scattering as bad.

I run 8,000K in my 2002 saleen and in my 2008 f150.
Definitely a better upgrade over factory.
Just make sure to adjust your headlights down a little bit to compensate for the extra brightness.

Once you do this, you will not blind on-coming cars and still have plenty of light to see with.

I've had mine for 2 years on my truck and never get flashed by on-coming traffic since adjusting them! Good luck!

I use to have 6K HIDs on stock headlights before going to the cobra headlights and they scattered alot. Yes they gave you a little better visibility but not much over stock. When i switched headlights it made a world of a difference.

It'll give you more light, just not necessarily where you want it. My suggestion is to pick up some Depo projectors and stick some HID's in those at the least. Oh and IMO 4300k is where you wanna be at for the best look/light output. 6k is too blue, just my opinion of course.

HID's without a proper projector lens is sort of meh to me. I think 6k and down personally though as far as color goes. But yes, your light will be very wide spread, not just right in front of you. Maybe it will help you see cows on the side of the road?

Depo projectors are the way to go!! Mine are 8k in BOI Cobra headlights and I have little to complain about. The HIDs in our s197 aren't in projectors and its NICE with 8k head/6k fog lights..

S197s with stock headlights and HID's are awesome. My sisters bf put 8k in his 06 and they're bright, don't blind anyone either.

Like everyone said, with stock headlights it's going to be scattered all over. Yeah they'll look brighter but you'll be lighting up everything else besides the road lol. You could get some Cobra headlights for like $50-60 on ebay, throw those in with the HID's and you'd be set.

Ya they scattered like a roaches at night when you turn the light on (i dont have roaches) but i always wondered why the highway and road signs are lit up when i drive by and not when others drive by lol.

But my lights are aimed really low now and still do that.
