:help2: I am working on my car now but a some what friend of mine has a 03 gto with exhaust and intake...he claims no all motor mustang can out run him...i am running a spec 2 clutch, light weight flywheel, E-cam, the block is bored 40 over, i am porting the heads, and up grading the valve springs!!! i think i will burn him but i dont want 2 look dumb...

yeah i deff doubt u can take that GTO sorry bud, and dang im ford all the way but be glad hes just got a 03 with the 5.7 that are rated at 325hp stock and not the 06 with the 6.0 rated at 400hp stock an me owning a cobra thats just plain sick straight out of the box power for a car at that price.

thos egto's are on the same page as the camaro/ta's. You can't beat a bolt on ls1....well a stock ls1 for that matter. I've ran a few at the track with the spray and it's always a dogfight. As your car sits, he';; take advantage of you all night and not ever call you again like you did with your first one night stand.

They are heavy as hell and usually have problems with traction. If its auto you should definately be able to keep up. What kind 1/4 mile times do you run?

For example my brothers 2000 gt with 4.10s,through an auto, with a superchips handheld tuner, bassani exhaust,accufab tb and plenum can beat an 04 gto auto from a stop. From a roll the gto gets the win. His friends has a gto by the way and he raced him a bunch of times.

Then again his car is capable of mid 13s on street tires. If your car can run mid to high 13s I think you will have a chance.

I raced a 6.0 gto on the highway the other day and he pulled a couple cars from 60-120. The kid driving looked stupid though

well they made the new gtos in 04'-06' they didnt have them in 03'. but the 04' comes with 350hp and the 05-06' comes with 400hp

So what you are saying is 350 horse power is not that hard to beat? You know what your right, especially when it takes a hci package to even get a 5.0 to make about that much.

sounds to me like there is a prob with that fox stang :dunno: a stroker with HCI and a 100 shot and he walked you every time ??? ??? that should be a low 11 sec car EASY. A fox with 300 at the wheels is a low 12 sec car all day long and that one shoud have had a LOT more than that :-\

it tips the scales at just over 3700lbs too........thats pretty fat

i've got a 347 stroker kit for sale. that will definitely get you going in the right direction.

but the stock ported heads arent going to do it. i would start with nitrous if you want to even get somewhat close
