That is exactly how I feel about it. The epa is on a warpath and I don't want it pointed at me.
I’m not defending the person wanting to put a diesel in a Mustang, as my opinion is a Mustang should only have V8 gasoline muscle, but why do you guys care so much about what the EPA thinks? Our cars are older, qualifying for antique tags in most states. Most of the cars were probably modded long ago.
Absolutely the diesel crowd is an easy target. I'm glad you said that because the EPA busted many very good diesel shops and individuals as well!! Yes, it's on youtube a citizen with a diesel truck ordered parts for his truck, and the EPA intercepted this gentleman's order and he had to deal with them. All this has been going on since 2015 and more than likely before that. All I'm trying to do is educate people that are not aware of the GRIMMIE EPA. And more so fellow hotrodders.Unfortunately the diesel crowd is an especially easy target to hit.
I forgot a very important thing. If you search defund the EPA or any online paper you can sign and also write your congressmen or women and tell them this matter needs to be dealt with immediately. I have done it so many many times and still writing. You can write them as many times as you want no matter if it's one time a day or a million times every day until all of us overwhelm these basters.Ok ttocs, I was not aware of an all out war from the EPA on motorsports, but I’m not surprised by it either, considering the socialists/communists in charge right now. To answer your question, no I haven’t tried to buy an off-road exhaust pipe, lately .

I don't blame you at all. In a lot of newer vehicles and I'm talking way before 2020 the ECU/computer if it had been flashed it will leave a footprint that the dealer can see!!!! Just so people don't think I'm talking out of my ass, I have been in the automotive industry for over 20+ years and have seen so much change over the years is crazy. This is one reason I'm not looking to tune/delete this truck. The dealership gave me a lifetime warranty so long as I let them do the maintenance and not delete it. Deal.

Yes sir I wish more people like yourself were responding in the manner you are.Recognizing the Protection of Motorsports Act (RPM Act)
SEMA STATEMENT ON THE STATUS OF THE RECOGNIZING THE PROTECTION OF MOTORSPORTS (RPM) ACT DIAMOND BAR, Calif. (Dec. 22, 2022) – SEMA and PRI must share that despite strong Congressional backing and extraordinary support from the racing community, the 2021-2022 Congressional session is ending...www.sema.org
The epa is trying to go after almost anyone in the aftermarket business. Have you tried to buy an off-road exhaust pipe lately? They have been going after everyone from major manf to small shops/tuners
I'm with you man, I wish things were the way they were now when I was 18 almost 30 years ago.You deleted truck drivers are sinners and I want no part of it!
(hides mine)
I hate the world we live in anymore. But coal rollers make us all look bad too. I didn't really find it cool when I was 16 driving around in my dads 7.3 and tbh now at 30 I just look at it more like someone who has a shit tune in it than anything else.
Literally almost all of my hobbies anymore are either illegal, borderline illegal, or just downright frowned upon. And 10 years ago, that was not so much the case with any of them. My how the times have changed.....
It's not what the EPA thinks of our cars, It is what they have already done and trying to keep us from modding our cars at all. The biggest fight is that the EPA wants to make it mandatory that any vehicle with a Vin# can not be converted into a racecar. This is why by simply putting a cold air on your car can make it a racecar in the EPA's eyes! Now, this is absolutely ludicrous to all of us gearheads right!!! I just ask everybody to research the matrix of what the EPA is up to and what they have already done. What you find will make you sick and confused.I’m not defending the person wanting to put a diesel in a Mustang, as my opinion is a Mustang should only have V8 gasoline muscle, but why do you guys care so much about what the EPA thinks? It’s part of the RPM LawYes sir I wish more people like yourself were responding in the manner you are.
That I already know and am glad we just recently went to court with the EPA and had a small victory. But we still need more people to make their voices heard with the rest of us.Look up the RPM law the government is trying to push
