can you modify the factory strut tower brace to fit?

I have a 94 gt that I put a cobra intake with a 3/8" space on it, which of course means the factory strut tower brace will not fit. Seems like it would only take a couple of cuts and a littl welding to modify it to get it to fit and I just wondered if anyone had done it and taken any pics?

yes it can be done. i haven't done it but a guy over on stangnet did it a while back. can't think of who it was now though. came out pretty good. I think Dal modified his to fit too.
