Hey there all! I have a 98 mustang I just bought, and I can't seem to get the rear seat out. I now there is a button under the seat to push, but the passenger side button is not unlatching. Any other way to get this thing out?

it could be sticky with something spilled in it. Try a little wd40 and also try pushing down on the seat as you push the button.

Like ttocs said. They can sometimes get stuck. Pick the material up as much as you can and try to get a little lubricant on it.

I like to use a fairly healthy size flat head to make sure I can put some torque on the "button" portion, and it usually pops right out.

The push button is held to the floor with small two metric bolts, one each side. Get those out and then you can take the back seat out . Sometimes a prior owner beat on it so the end of the button is flared and won't push in far enough to release the seat. You might be lucky enough to fix that with a file.
