ok......mustang(1998 v6-1995 5.0) was in a wreck.....was running perfect for 1 yr. prior...so i took the motor out and stuff to have the frame checked and just to freshin some gaskets up cause the motor did sit for 7 years.....but it ran like a raped app....so put the motor back in the car.......everything was fine.....started up and idled , then i gave it some gas and when i let off it shut off and wont restart for XXXX. got fuel smell from the intake pretty good and i know i have spark.....but i put my optima in the trunk.....and the wire did short out to the body as i checked it and sparked pretty good.....but all the fuses and stuff are fine......fuel pump running good......timing was never moved from before.....and i ported the intake and put another alt. on and some used injectors cause mine had cracked caps on the bottom side......i dont want to keep cranking it.....and i need to figure this out.......im positive its something stupid.....but its the same exact way i had it before and it did run for about 30 seconds to a minute before i let off the throttle and it wouldnt idle and died......5speed car 94-95 t4mo computer.....all right harness swap.....it should be the same exact as a 94-95 5.0.........all i did for the battery in the trunk was lengthin the positive cable and find a good ground.....i dont think thats it. i think its from somthing stupid but everything was pluged in .......i just dont get it

checked the fuel safety switch in the back........but just cranked it one more time..........pulled plugs and all soaked cores and all.......pulled dipstick ......brank new oil fell off like water.....alot of fuel.......so only 1 major thing to think of now .......and thats that those injectors are sticking open on the six of 8 plugs i pulled that are wet........so ill take the plenum off tomarrow cause its to late tonight.......its outside.....and ill pull the rails off with the injectors and try to key on the motor and start it and see if the injector are acting properly......odds are..im leanin towards .......those injectors i got are USED and i bet i just lucked out and got some really bad ones....my buddy at ford just told me that ford injectors dont usually go bad but when the do the either get weak and drip fuel or completely stick open.........so my luck is i probably got 8 fucked up injectors.......aint that some shit...so ill find out tomarrow but still keep me updated with some thoughts.........im still up and thinking about others to.....but.......if my narrow band (have wide band to) are reading lean on key on. engine off. then my eec is probably not messed up from the arc i had with the positive cable.....and no fuse is bad or nothing........so thats my knowledge for now......and does anyone know where to find new injector cups for the bottom of the injectors cause thats the only reason i couldnt reuse mine............or do i need brand new injectors........id hate to spend it cause my new motor runs on 42's and it will be goin in next winter if not this summer......

If you have that much fuel in your oil, be sure and change that shit out... it would suck to get it fired up, and you have a crankcase explosion.

swaped out to my good injectors and nothing......new plugs oil and filter again and nothing....coil, and tfi test out good.......how could i check the dizzy....but why would it have just died on me after running and then not fire back up......could a bad ground make it not run?????????as far as i can tell right now.......everything i messed with is in working condition......i know i got spark and i know i deffinatly have enough fuel......and the motor ran like a raped app so i know its got compression or it would have shown signs and never fired up that first time so fast.........so now im puzzled.......im puttin the battery back up where its suposed to go ..........first off, then i guess ill re-time it......new cap and button and wires.......another new set of plugs .........and trace every wire i touched and enshure that good connection is all i can do.......
would a bad mass air cause it not to start......i changed that out it was smashed in the wreck.....and other than that its all the same now but the battery in the trunk and ported intake.......
and really....could a slow cranking process lead to no start...????????
