Carfax report questions ?

So I've been doing some used car shopping and one promising listing included a free carfax. When I looked at this it had many maintenance records from dealerships, but also listed a accident, with no air bag deployment and no frame damage. Should this be a big point of concern for me? I just dont want any hidden complications to arise, but the price is right otherwise.

Remember that carfax will not show everything.

My old v6 shows a squeaky clean carfax with no accident and a correct odometer although both airbags were deployed, frame may have been damaged and the odometer had been broken for 6 years.

It will only show reports if insurance gets involved or the body shop reports it

Just keep that in mind when checking carfax reports

could just be a fender bender but that's always the chance you take. inspect the paint etc.

Thanks for the replys! I havent looked at the truck in person, but I am trying to do my research before I take a test drive/walk-around.

I appreciate yall's opinions, as I've never looked into buying a car with a accident report showing up on the carfax.

I had a car once which was totaled and sold as a parts car. Found that car 8 years later. Rather then do the job right, they welded a different car onto it (didn't measure, didn't even notice differences in the two models) They tack welded ceratin spots and the sprayed it with a maaco quality paint job. Welding started to come undone and the only thing keeping the car together was the crossmember...
