I'm looking to piece together a cat back system to save a few bucks, I'm going to order from latemodelrestoration.com, I noticed they have a set of generic looking stainless tips for like $149, just wondering if anyone had any experience installing them to see how involved it is, I'm going to purchase the pypes intermediate pipes and Jones Full Boar Muffler's, thanks in advance

wow my bad, it's a 94 GT,

if you on the budget, get to delta muffer shop, most them carry flowmaster 40 or 44 series, make them a deal, 200 dollar for 2 flowmaster with SS tip with custom h or x pipe.

i did this combo to my 98 after listent to my friend 2000 gt, and he take me to place he got it done. after 1 month, i order mac o/r H pipe, because the custom made H pipe kinda raspy sound, the mac OR H pip fix that raspy sound.

No codes. The 02's ever know if the car has cats or not b/c it takes the reading after the cats anyway.

I'm running the Borla System. You can find them decently priced if you look.. Or if your even into that sound. I love it on my 5.0 so quiet at idle too.

The Borla link didn't work for me, FYI. The MAC systems sound just perfect, sweet ass cars there. I've always been a fan of the ProChamber too. Great video, great choice.

I'm going to agree, i got the mac catback with 3 inch tips from stangmods for less than $300. But if you really want to save money, dump the exhaust before the axle, i think it makes sn95 cars look much cleaner imho. and i have also heard of some crappy fitment issues with the pypes mid pipes..

I say go with these: http://www.cjponyparts.com/product.aspx?p=CBM21&utm_source=google&utm_medium=merchant&utm_campaign=shopping

a
nd this mid pipe: http://www.americanmuscle.com/bbk-offroad-xpipe-9495.html

While thats nice, but not the price range hes looking for. Borla is far from being cheap.

And no on the 5.0 you can remove the cats without triggering the CEL light. On the 96+ GT's is where you trigger the CEL.

While i agree the BBK o/r x sounds tits.. its a acquired sound. Far to many people hate the sound of the BBK o/r x. I wouldn't recommend it without the buyer listening to tons of clips with this midpipe. I however love the bbk o/r =]
