When I put Magnapacks on my 94 they fit all GT's from 94-98...so even the 5.0 & 4.6 didn't make a difference...but the New Edge is a different catback...probably very close I bet, might even just be the hanger locations but I'm not sure.

yea i know that the 98 has the strait hanger that points toward the rear of the car and from what i can tell the 99 ups have that too... wonder if the hanger on the muffler is different? From those things i think the actuall muffler is different too. Kinda like how fords cat backs us the good sounding loud muffler on the 99 ups only :(

the hanger locations are different as said above. The reason Magnaflows fit is because the hangers are designed to fit all the years.

94-97 SRA v8 cars have a different hanger for the tip. 98-04 SRA v8 cars have the same hanger for the tip. you can either swap where the hanger goes into (bolts on to the car, can prob get it from a junk yard or something) or you can get the proper tips. all other hangers/flanges are the same. 99-04 cobras are almost entirely different because of the IRS. on the SRA, the pipes go over the axle. on the IRS, it goes under the pumpkin. if you swap out the SRA for the IRS, then its a perfect fit as well. the mid pipes still bolt on the same way, either to an SRA catback or IRS catback

Do you guys know anyone with this system on there cars? i looked it up on youtube and only found ultraflows and bullets?

the 98 exhaust hangs from the over the axle pipe. My 97s first hanger was on the muffler. 98+ makes it hard to run dumps at the muffler. I ran my 97 with dumps...no tail pipes at all.

well i know 99 and 98 catbacks are interchangeable, hangers in the same locations as mine. swapped out the stock catback from my friends car (99) into mine (98) once, and everything bolted in fine. i just wanted to hear what mine would sound like with flowmasters....didnt like it

eh, prob for the same reason some places (mainly frpp products) only list things for the 96-03 mustangs even tho it will fit the 04's as well....they are just too lazy to update.
