I just bought my 94GT a couple of weeks ago. I only took it for about a 10 min test ride and everything seemed great. After I bought it I started getting CEL's. I had the codes pulled and I think they were 181, 189, and 556. The first were "lean condition in fuel banks 1 and 2" and the other was "intermittent fuel pump issue." A couple of people recommended a new fuel pump. I didn't want to start just throwing new parts at it and hope they fix the problem but I plan on making some upgrades so I figured a big pump was in order anyway. I swapped the pump for a 255L but it did not cure my CEL. It comes on after 10 - 15min. of driving and stays on until you turn the car off. Any ideas?

Start looking for a vacuum leak, which is typically the case when both banks are lean.

aparently maf cleaner is sold at the auto parts stores ,but i used a q-tip and some alocohol. you will need a tamperproof torx bit to get the maf out. be very careful with the little wire thingy. if you break it , it won't be able to be fixed. do you have a k&n filter. sometimes after they are cleaned then reoiled the oil gets deposited on the front side of the maf therefore giving bad readings the puter. you might be able to just spray the cleaner at the maf and clean it good enough but i took mine out to do it good luck
