Ok I have been having problems with my alternator. It's a 200 amp from tuff stuff performance. It just went out on me again, and I think it is the voltage regulator again. My question is does anybody have a good wiring diagram for the wires that come off the voltage regulator....When I installed it originally I remember having to switch a wire or two around so my voltage light would go off. The wiring diagram that came with it was different than the one in the haynes manual so I just made it work originally. Anybody else have to replace the voltage regulator more than once?

Re: Charging System Problem

my 200 amp is out too, nut sure what the deal with it was, but when i would disconnect the battery with the motor running it would only stay running for a few seconds, so i swapped my 130 back on

The only wire that I changed around was the wire for the warning light wire because the harness did not have an output for a warning light. All the other wires were the same except I upraded to 4 awg. I have already spoken with bud about this before but he has been gone for over a week now so I have just been waiting for him to get back....good knowledge from that page thanks
