Chrome T-Stat Elbow leak?

So I've been reading on other Mustang Forums that the Ford Racing Chrome T-Stat housing is a piece of junk and leaks like a sieve. Needless to say I am not too comfortable reading this knowing I just recently installed this piece. Anybody with a 94/95 install this same part with success?

From a performance stand point, I wouldnt be using anything with chrome plating where there is heat, as chrome doesnt help dissipate heat. The same goes for fancy chrome oil pans! If your after a decent look, just polish the old one up pretty :boink:

I had one and it leaked also. When it was taken off it was a little warped. I donno if it was just that it was over torqued or that it was just a POS. The stocker is back on and it's fine (if there's silicone).
