Clean our cloth seats...

What do you guys use to clean your tweed cloth interior? My seats seem like they have some dust trapped in them and are a bit faded looking.

I have tried vacuuming, then using those walmart interior cleaners with the plastic scubber built in which suck IMO did not do a thing.

Suggestions? Handz...?!

Do those work about the same as the Rug Doctor rentable carpet cleaner things? I know our local grocery store stopped carrying the actual Rug Doctor and got something newer thats very similar to what you posted only it has a wider end on it for floors. Almost wonder if you could wrestle one in there and get good results.

A few years back I borrowed my sisters hand held sofa cleaner and it was bad ass. She has since loaned it to someone else and they lost/stole it but I haven't been able to find another one like it since. From what I remember it was white and lime green similar to the bissel stuff, but it was compact, like a dust buster. you had to put hot water in it but it really did a killer job on my light tan seats w/ milk/juice stains from my kid.

I too would love a way to clean the beasts guts. A conpact steam cleaner seems the best choice but I can't find one.

The Thurmax is the Best auto detailing extractor made PERIOD...

They work perfect and last forever and after buying different brands i will never go with anything else then a Thurmax...

They are 200 degree hot water extractors that make interior carpet and seats look new...

Then i have a commercial hot water steamer that get what the extractor cant...

When I had my GTS, I used my mama's steam cleaner to clean the cloth seats. It worked extra good, and you can pick one up for like $100 at Walmart.

I think you are talking about the bissel little green machine. Its good stuff

Matt -I would get a spot remover and a clean towel and go at it. Dont get it to wet you dont want mold. Hit it with a shop vac when done to try to remove moisture.

All you have to do is go buy superclean at walmart and spray the seat and then scrub it with a scrub brush then use a shop vac and vacuum it all off and then wipe it down and they will look great ...

I use a worn out wash mit, a bucket of hot water, ring out the mit, use some interior cleaner sprayed onto the dirty seat, scrub with a mit (sometimes also use a brush), and then an extractor to get the water out. Let the seat dry, and all good. Depending how dirty your seats are, there are a lot more detailed ways of doing it, but thats the simple jist of it. Water is truly your best friend when cleaning upholstery.

west sac. im a broke dick so a professional detailing will have to wait. luckily i have a friend with a hand held steamer that i can borrow so im going to give that a shot.

Worked very well at removing stains via pc power. I used Folex available at Lowes/HD and sprayed each section (liberally) and allowed it to dwell. Then I used the pc to go over the area real well and then used my shop vac to vacuum the seats. I don't have any before/after pics but I do have 1 pic of the brush in action on my old seats.
