Ok so I tried using this Manual guy and well it didn't work out too well..

suggestions on products that work best on cleaning up the engine bay... I know most people use simple green and since I've got my Procharger in there I rather not use like a degreaser since it makes aluminum look chalky..

Simple Green is not like a lot of other degreasers, I wouldn't be surprised if it was just fine on your aluminum. Maybe try it on an inconspicuous spot first, it doesn't make metal white like royal purple, etc.

Did my entire bay with simple green and a watering hose and a towel left over from drying my car. Looks a lot better.

Trust me, get some of the simple green concentrated stuff... sometihng like Simple Green Max? Its got a foaming squirt bottle, and use it as a foam and let it sit for about 10 mins, and soak everything, rinse off and wipe everything then do it again.

I had to mine a few times. 14 years of grime to clean off

any good degreaser really.

Then it's up to you to wipe it all down and shine it up where you want to.
