I guess you could put them there too if you want. Kind of a long way and lot of effort to run the wires that far.

Yes - but if the adjusters are on the box you'll have a tough time getting to it.

It is written in the MSD instructions that if you lengthen the wires, you have to go up one gauge in size...so if the MSD original harness is 12 gauge and you want to extend them, you simply add 14 gauge to obtain your desired length.

Ry - wouldn't going "up" in gauge mean to a larger one, like from 12 gauge to 10 gauge? Or no?

good catch :thumb:

so if i upgraded the harness from 12 to 10 for exapmple, would i just splice the 10 guage wire into the 12 guage wire then?

good catch paul. it was late and I was tired.

You don't replace the whole wire...just add length with a thicker than original gauge.
