I bought a 94 gt yesterday and didnt think nothing of the oil. i got home and checked the oil. Drove it 40 miles with barely any oil registering on the dip stick. put a quart in and it was pretty much full again.. so did i screw anything up being a quart and a half or so short of oil?
close call...

no unless the lifters were making noise. which I doubt.
I wouldn't recomend it regularly as the oil aids in cooling too.
Also being that you just bought it, keep a close eye on the oil till you know why it was low.

yeah post away and +1 ^^
Mine occasionally dips down that low. Never had any sort of problems or noises related to it. Just put some more in it and keep going... However, I'd watch it closely on a new car.
