Cobra brake install question

Gonna instal my cobra brakes maybe tom after work if its nice, and was wondering if anyone had pics or some info that would he helpful to me? I know how to bolt the lines and all that, im just wondering about the pin with the clip on it and the little clips for the pads. Dont totally know how and where it all goes. Never done a set of brakes like this before. Ive swapped pads on brembo 4 pistons calipers before and they had the pins that held the pads but it was dif than these. Anyone have anything that willl help?

i got the calipers and everything sitting here totally apart. i got them from a car being parted and the person pulled them before i got there. im sure its very easy, i was just hoping someone had a pic of their brakes with the wheel off so i can see just how it all goes.

thanks for the pic! i actually forgot to even check this thread before i installed them tonight. everything went smoothly! Forgot the little pad clips on the first side so had to go back and put em on after i finished the 2nd! Looks great and def better braking! Pedal is a little stiff still bc i dont have the Cobra MC yet, but i will get one. Pics to come tomorrow!

im having a problem with installing my cobra/bullet brakes
what holds the caliper in the bracket?
i marked in red what im talking about in these pictures of my brakes.

you need the pins and little like clips that go on the end of them. auto zone has a new kit for i tihnk $4. ill look it up real quick on their site

There's a pin (about 3" long) that slides through that hole and the opposite end of the pin gets an e-clip that holds the pin in place

You can see the head of the pin on the left side in the pic below.

The pins look similar to these

ok i got the hardware kit from pepboys ($12)
what are these for?

those clip onto the brake pads. in the above pic with the red caliper just below the pin you will see it on the pad. just keeps the pad held secure from back and forth movement

anytime. i had the same questions when i did mine also. i had one side together thinking i was done, and got goin on the next and saw the clips and had to keep looking to see where the heck they went. had to take the other side apart again and redo it lol
